Climb the Leaderboard to Lexia Success
We're challenging Lexia schools to identify their top-performing pupils based on the number of Lexia units completed over the half term. The highest achievers will be recognised as Lexia Superstars and celebrated with exclusive badges and certificates/
Holding your schools Lexia League competition is a great way to rebuild learning routines, motivate pupils and celebrate your students' literacy progress.
Top students will qualify for a £25 book token. The overall champion will receive £50. The more units achieved, the higher your school will climb the league!
How to get involved
Getting involved is simple. Here's what your school needs to do:
1. Launch the Challenge
Start your school's Lexia League competition by encouraging the use of the Lexia programme across your school and use the myLexia reports to track unites progress of your pupils.
You'll be able to introduce the challenge to staff and pupils using the ready-made Lexia League Pack, designed to make the setup quick and easy.

2. Use the Lexia League Pack
Everything you need to run the competition is included:
- Leaderboard template (for classroom or whole-school display)
- Printable posters to promoted the challenge
- Digital certificate templates
- Lexia League logo for school use and displays
- Simple guidance for staff

3. Encourage Participation
Pupils complete Lexia activities as part of normal learning. Throughout the half term, staff can use myLexia reports to monitor progress and encourage continued engagement.
The aim is simple: Complete as many Lexia units as possible!
4. Submit your Top Pupil
Between 12th-16th October, you will be invited to report your school's highest performing pupil(s) by submitting the number of Lexia units completed via a simple online form. Keep an eye out for this landing in your inbox!
5. Verification and Celebration
In the following week, we will contact selected schools to request confirmation of results via screenshots of myLexia reports/
Where possible, we may also request pupil images to support our winners' announcement.
Lexia League Winners
Winning pupils will be recognised as Lexia Superstars and will recieve:
- A £25 National Book Token (with £50 being awarded to the overall winner)
- A Lexia Superstar pin badge
- A certificate of achievement
- Recognition in a national Lexia UK blog post celebrating top performers
All featured pupils will be celebrated in a blog published the first week after half term.

Competition Rules
To ensure fairness and consistency across all participating school:
- The competition is open to all schools using Lexia programmes in the UK and Ireland.
- The challenge runs across a defined period (between 1st September 2026 and the 12th October 2026)
- Schools are responsible for identifying and submitting their top-preforming pupil by 16th October 2026 to be entered into the competition.
- Only one pupil per school can be submitted.
- Submissions must be made via the official online entry form by the stated deadline on 16th October 2026 at 4pm.
- Entries are based on the number of Lexia units completed during the competition period this must be submitted accurately along with the pupils first name, class (as displayed in myLexia) and year group.
- LexiaUK may request supporting evidence (e.g. myLexia screenshots) to verify results.
- Schools may be contacted for follow-up confirmation and additional details, including pupil images where appropriate.
- Winners will be featured in a LexiaUK blog post and will receive recognition materials such as badges and certificates.
- LexiaUK reserves the right to amend or withdraw the competition if necessary.
