With age-appropriate activities, real-time progress data and a host of resources to support educators, PowerUp® Literacy provides effective reading intervention in schools that accelerates literacy progress and empowers ALL students, regardless of ability or background, to thrive.

PowerUp® Literacy uses a structured, personalised approach to help secondary school pupils catch up and keep up with the essential literacy skills needed for GCSE success. With a focus on word study, grammar and comprehension, PowerUp provides opportunities for students to engage with a wider range of texts as well as tier 2 and tier 3 vocabulary. This adaptive programme delivers age-appropriate, engaging content that adjusts dynamically to every learner’s strengths and needs.
Each student begins with a short, gamified online assessment that identifies their individual learning needs and places them at the right starting point within the programme. From there, they work independently through targeted activities designed to close gaps, advance skills and build confidence.

“ In the past, reading interventions have sometimes felt like a little bit of a chore. That's not the case with Lexia. The students really look forward to the sessions and the texts are engaging, age-appropriate and they are relevant to the students as well.”
