Join Lydia, our Product Champion, to get up to date with your PowerUp training.

Suitable for current Lexia customers, this 45-minute training session is designed to ensure you have a full understanding of our secondary-level program, PowerUp, as well as the administrative power of myLexia.

This training session is an excellent opportunity to learn some practical tips around the implementation of PowerUp, alongside guidance on making the most of the data and reporting features offered in myLexia.

Highlights of the session include:

  • An understanding of how the Lexia Blended Learning model is ingrained in every stage of PowerUp.
  • A demonstration of the student experience in Lexia PowerUp Literacy, including a breakdown of how the three strands of Word Study, Grammar and Comprehension are communicated by the program.
  • A deep dive of the functionality of myLexia, from the creation of staff and student accounts to the generation of progress reports.
  • A discussion of best practice and strategies for implementation, to ensure that educators are getting the most out of PowerUp.

Suitable for current Lexia Core5 customers, this training session is designed to solidify your understanding of the program and ensure you are using all of the tools on offer. This includes both the Primary student program, Core5, as well as the administrative capabilities of myLexia.

This training session is a fantastic opportunity to learn some practical tips on implementing the program, and guidance on making the most of the data in myLexia to accelerate literacy progress in your school.

Highlights of the session include:

  • An overview of the Lexia Blended Learning model and how it is utilised by Core5.
  • A demonstration of Lexia Core5 Reading from the students’ perspective, including the Scope & Sequence of the 6 areas of learning the program targets.
  • A deep dive of the functionality of myLexia, from the creation of staff and student accounts to the generation of progress reports.
  • A discussion of best practice and strategies of implementation, to ensure you are getting the most out of Core5.

Building Reading Engagement in the National Year of Reading

Aligned with the National Year of Reading, this session will help you:

  • Understand the real challenges schools face in motivating readers of all ages.
  • Explore what research tells us about intrinsic motivation and its role in sustaining engagement.
  • Discover practical strategies based on Self-Determination Theory, supporting pupils’ autonomy, competence and relatedness in reading.
  • Learn how technology can complement teaching and support engagement in meaningful ways.
