Real-Time Progress Monitoring
Track individual and class performance See skill development and usage patterns Identify pupils needing additional attention
An educator-focused administrative and reporting platform, myLexia™ is designed to support the implementation and monitoring of our personalised literacy programmes, such as Core5® Reading for Primary and PowerUP® Literacy for Secondary.
myLexia™ enables teachers to manage student progress, see actionable insights for each learner and offers support through a wide range of downloadable resources to support educators in enhancing literacy development.

myLexia™ works alongside our Core5® Reading and PowerUp® Literacy programmes by transforming learning activity into real-time insights for educators.
As learners work independently, the programme continually assesses their progress (through Lexia’s embedded Assessment Without Testing®), eliminating the need for formal testing.
The dashboard highlights exactly where support is needed and flags those who require additional support to bridge literacy gaps, providing ready-to-use, downloadable literacy resources for educators such as fully scripted lesson plans (Lexia Lessons®) and printable resources for practice and consolidation (Lexia Skill Builders®).
Where additional support is needed, teachers can utilise insight to deliver targeted one-to-one or group interventions, monitor usage and progress, share reports with parents and ultimately ensure that every learner gets the literacy intervention they need to become confident readers.

Continuous insight, without disruption.
Lexia’s Embedded Assessment integrates assessment seamlessly into the learning experience. Rather than relying on separate testing, students are assessed as they work through the programme’s activities. This approach helps teachers gain a clear, ongoing understanding of each learner’s progress while keeping valuable teaching time focused on learning.
Teachers can see where pupils are succeeding and where they may need additional support, allowing them to respond quickly and confidently. This continuous view of progress supports adaptive teaching decisions and helps ensure that every learner receives the right level of challenge and support.

When students first begin using Lexia, the programme assesses their current skill level and places them at the right starting point with skills that match their needs.

As students work, Lexia quietly gathers information about their performance and feeds this back to the teacher in real time, without interrupting the flow of learning .

At key points in the learning journey, short skills checks confirm that students have securely mastered important concepts before moving on, providing teachers with reassurance.
Together, these elements create a continuous cycle of learning, progress data and responsive support, helping educators target teaching more effectively and support stronger literacy outcomes for every pupil.
Whilst normative or summative assessments have their place, they often only capture what pupils know at one point in time, often after learning has concluded. In contrast, formative assessments are built into the learning process, capturing evidence during instruction, which in turn enables a timely adjustment of teaching and intervention.
Here’s why this matters for your literacy programme:
“The reports the programme generates are detailed and highly visual, so pupils can see at a glance the progress they are making.”
