Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) Lexia Evaluation Report on KS1 Struggling Readers:

‘Children offered Lexia made the equivalent of two additional months’ progress in reading, on average, compared to other children. These results have a high security rating’

In addition, subgroup analysis on FSM pupils represented an effect of three months’ additional progress.

Lydia’s Lexia Star User Competition directions:

  1. First of all, make sure that you have a Class set up in MyLexia that includes all of your Lexia Students.
  2. In the ‘Reading’ section, click on this class to enter the class overview.
  3. Click ‘Class Reports’ at the top.
  4. Select the ‘Usage’ Card.
  5. To get detailed minutes, you will need to select the ‘Usage Details’ button at the top. This will give you details over how many minutes a student has completed over the timeframe.
  6. You can edit the timeframe to include the term or half term as needed by selecting a ‘Custom’ date range at the top of the page.

 Following this, remember to move your children onto the next academic year in the ‘Manage’ tab on www.mylexia.com.”
